The Pledge and Promise initiative gives people across the UAE a way to express that gratitude and sense of belonging. It brings together a wide cross-section of the community – labourers, students, investors, healthcare professionals, engineers, academics, families, senior citizens and public figures.

Signing the initiative is a mark of gratitude that reflects decades of progress, and reaffirms the UAE's commitment to diversity, inclusion and a system built to protect rights and open doors to opportunity. It is an extension of the relationship between a leadership that has long placed human potential at the centre of its vision, and a community shaped by that vision in daily life.

Digital accessibility for all

The initiative launched digitally, with three ways to take part: • Direct personal signing at the event, where participants received the initiative's badge • Corporate signing – allowing companies, universities and institutions to sign collectively • Open digital signing — via a multilingual online platform, accessible by QR code across social media The official sign-up link is pledge.ae, where citizens and residents can digitally sign the initiative and download a personalised Certificate of Appreciation.
