DUBAI, 12 November 2025 – From 28 November to 2 December, Al Wasl Plaza transforms into a 110,000 sqft playground of cakes, cookies, coffee and creativity, serving up the ultimate baking celebration. A true sugar rush of entertainment, the Festival of Cake, part of Al Wasl Seson, delivers five flavour-packed days with 100-plus live shows, 25 celebrity chefs, 30 dessert brands and the world-famous CAKE PICNIC™.

The UAE’s first official Cake Picnic It’s the sweetest rule ever: No Cake. No Entry. All the way from USA, the CAKE PICNIC™ has travelled from parks to piazzas and now lands in Dubai for its first-ever Middle East edition and the final stop of its global tour. Guests are invited to bring their own creations – sponge, chiffon, upside down, princess, honey, meringue, jelly, trifle, multi-tiered and butter cakes – and join a record-breaking outdoor feast celebrating the universal love of cake. Tickets are ê 150, including entry to the grand finale on 2 December.

Headliners that rise to the occasion Leading the lineup is Rich Myers, founder of viral UK dessert empire Get Baked, famous for his 24-layer chocolate icon Bertha. Watch him build it live on stage – layer by layer – in a daily spectacle that blends engineering precision with edible artistry.

Bake it until you make it – the Festival of Cake Bake-Off The competition heats up with the Festival of Cake Bake-Off, powered by Bosch. Bakers of every level – from home enthusiasts to pastry pros – can showcase their talent and flair before a panel of international judges. Winners take home top-of-the-line Bosch equipment and money-can’t-buy prizes. Entries close 20 November.
