Event's details

iamtheCODE is a global movement founded by Senegalese-born British technologist Lady Mariéme Jamme. They are hosting their first Hackathon on Global Goals in the U.A.E. The event aims to engage 100 women aged 16 to 25 from the UAE to explore the potential of coding skills in advancing the U.N. Global Goals. The Hackathon will take place on February 24th and 25th, 2024.

iamtheCODE is the first African-led global movement dedicated to advancing STEAMED education and empowering women and girls worldwide. Lady Mariéme Jamme founded the initiative to enable 1 million women and girl coders by 2030, providing them with the skills needed for future employment opportunities.
